From a small town in the USA

TO THE LARGEST CITY IN THE UK

I have never been one to advocate for "the grass is always greener on the other side" mentality, but I do think I needed a different pasture to graze in. So, here I am, frolicking around in London ... the place I have been blessed to call home for the past 3 years now.

Hi! I'm Brielle. I was born and raised in Centerville, TN just one hour outside of Nashville. Despite our proximity to the growing city, Centerville remains the definition of small-town USA with humble people doing what they can to get by. As a child, it was all I needed, but I still sat in that lush, green grass in my backyard every summer and watched the airplanes fly by, wondering where they were going and who was on them.

I moved from one small town to another for Harding University in Searcy, Arkansas. It was here that I got the opportunity to study abroad. A sweet woman named Angie, who worked at the university, told me I would suit London, and I believed her. So, on a whim, I paid the $500 deposit for the trip and within a few months, I was on my first international flight. I was forever changed by my time abroad and vowed to return to London one way or another ... and that's what I did.

After graduating from Harding, I moved back to London for a one year Master's programme thinking I would get London out of my system and begin teaching back in the States. Plot twist: I didn't leave London. Instead, I found an incredible community, a great job, and the most loving husband (but none of it came without jumping over or crashing into a few obstacles along the way).

I've discovered quite a lot about London (and found there's still more to uncover!) within my 3 years in this city. Living in London also means having incredible links to other countries, especially within Europe. I have now been to more European countries than states within my own.

The joy of traveling and finding new activities, shops, and sights around the world is something I want to share with others. That's where Rove and Frolic enters the story.

I rarely do things that have no guarantee of success, but I felt it was time to take a leap of faith and do what I love regardless of whether or not people took notice and supported me.

I was praying to God about my aspirations, and I heard Him ask:

"Could you do this thing you love and still know your worth even if no one else cared about it?"

If I'm honest, the answer was no ... and that's exactly why I knew it was time to pursue this dream and create Rove and Frolic.

The Vision for Rove and Frolic

Rove and Frolic was founded on the desire to explore new places and create intentional connections and friendships with women all around the globe and from all walks of life. I just want women to have a space where they feel like they are truly wanted and welcomed.

While I love sharing my own travel experiences and recommendations, I also want to create spaces for women to connect, find community, and share memorable experiences together. The events and trips I host are all designed to help create long-lasting friendships and memories. Whether you're into fitness, food, beauty and wellbeing, adventure, or all the above -- Rove and Frolic has something to offer you. If that's a vision you can get behind, then check out the "Events" page to register for any of the upcoming events and activities. You can also read about the Rove and Frolic culture to understand more of my vision for this community and the kind of culture I want to foster:
